The Newly Weds...

Jeremy and Camille came for a weekend visit. We had a jam packed weekend filled with lots of fun and sun! I enjoyed the opportunity to get to know Camille while Timmy and Jeremy shot photos all weekend long. Camille and I shopped, shopped and shopped all day saturday, we found some amazing deals and enjoyed a bit to eat at Cheescake Factory and relaxed for a while on the beach. After a long day we dinned at Laguna's famous Mexican restaurant, Javiers. It was Lobster enchiladas all around the table and we all cleared our plates! Sunday was just as fun with Jeremy and Camille. We hope they come for a visit to SLC soon.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIT!

Last night we celebrated Brit's birthday down at the bay. We had a blast! It was fun spending time with Jeremy n Camile from Arizona, James n Leah from SD, and all the others from Orange County along with their babies (and soon too be babies!)! The food was delicous and the weather was perfect, such a warm night, and we enjoyed the sounds of waves crashing while relaxing by the fire. The waves were a pretty good size so the guys went for a late night swim. And Joe and Brit made an exciting announcement, Congrats we are anxious to meet the little one when we move back! Happy Birthday Brit, We love you.

Toys

Timmy just got a new lens for his camera and he is thrilled! Tim enjoys photography and is looking forward to getting some great shots this winter at the mountain. I know you are all thinking if Tim is such a great photographer why do the pics on our blog suck? Well, it is because I take the photos on the blog with my old outdated camera. Hopefully he will contribute some photos soon...

Miss Fashion...

Today I had the pleasure of spending time with a dear friend, Linda. Linda and I met eons ago at Saddleback while taking Fashion courses. We became friends thru working on window displays together. It is because of Linda that I had so many fun jobs in the surf industry! She took me under her wing and coached me all along the way, I learned a tremendous amount from her and I have always been gratefull for her friendship. Linda always brings happiness to my life, she has the amazing ability to talk to anyone and everyone, and she is soooo much fun! She has a great sense of style and always has the cutest outfits from head to toe! One of our favorite past times is shopping together before every tradeshow. We would go to South Coast and pick out outfits for each other, we had no choice, we of course had to look super cute at ASR!

Another fun filled day!

Not too many people read our blog and for those of you who do I bet you are tired of seeing photos of what we do everyday... I hope you guys are not getting too bored.
I feel so fortunate that Tim works up the hill from our house, so we often get together for lunch. I love seeing him all thru - out the day! I miss him when we are apart all day long. We enjoyed lunch at the new El Ranchito in Laguna with Tim's dad. For those of you who enjoy eating as much as I do I recommend this joint... the chips n salsa is delicious and the baja bowl and tostado's are yummy! The outside patio is really quant and cozy.
We ended the day with a family BBQ at my parents. It was a big feast with a ton of yummy food. Tim did an excellent job in the grill and as alaways my mom served up a lot of sides and desert which everyone enjoyed. Ben and Cara joined us, they are just like family!

Sisterly LOVE

My life is great! Everyday is just fun, fun, fun and more fun. One of the best things about being home is spending time with my sister. We spent the day together shopping for Timmy, eating a yummy lunch of pizza n salad at Selma's, laying out and cooling off with golden spoon. I always seem to meet interesting people when laying out and today was no different. After hearing a very touching but depressing story while laying out, I was once again reminded of how absolutly wonderful my life is.
Katri got pooped on by a crow today! That's what we get for laying out at the pool. This never happens when we go to the beach. According to Mellisa being pooped on is good luck! I love you Katri.

Izzy's Christening

Neil and Lisa's daughter was Baptized today. We enjoyed being there with my friends from high school and their spouses and children. Today not all the girls were able to make it (sad, it seems that the older we get the harder it is to find time for us to be in the same place at the same time). I feel so fortunate to be home for the summer, we have missed out on so many events while being in Utah. So today was a special day for me to be able to witness a stepping stone in Izzy's life while being the company of some of my greatest friends. I love them each so much and it is a special treat to watch Lisa, Kate and Chrissy with their sweet children. I sure am going to miss all the girls when I leave very soon. Moving back to the OC will be the happiest day of 2008 for me. Lisa's family put on a lovely Italian party and we had a fabulous day!

Family Love

Each summer my cousin Holly comes for a visit from San Fran and all us girls go to the ArtAFair and Sawdust in Laguna. (See website for discount http://www.sawdustartfestival.org and http://www.art-a-fair.com) This year Timmy joined us! All the adults found some great artwork and us youngster enjoyed checking out the photography and jewlery. We ran into Mike - a blast from the past - he is doing some amazing art work! Our favorites are the skateboards, especially the series he designed for Toy Machine, my fav is the butterfly board. Check out his website mikekershnar.com. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Javiers, we recommend the lobster enchiladas, everyone cleared their plates! So sad Javiers will be leaving Laguna very shortly, they are opening in Newport Coast and Cabo!

Friends

I feel so fortunate to have such great friends. Each week I get to spend time with my friends (and sis) doing different activities and going on different outings. The other day I met up with Summer and Maryam for some good eats and treats then we headed over to Talega where my sister joined us and we toured some model homes. I had a lot of fun with the girls and their children. And I am always amazed at how well behaved all my friends children are!
We were surprised by a very fast visit with Kirk and Chelsea! We do not get to see them enough and everytime we do we all wish we lived in the same county. Selma's was delicious! I recomend the WARM BROWNIE TOPPED WITH ICE CREAM it was the perfecting ending to a fulfilling dinner. And the prices were amazing! Selma's is located on del mar in sc. We look forward to the day we can travel with Kirk and Chelsea.

Joelynn Happy HAPPY Birthday!

We had the opportunity to celebrate Joelynn's Birhtday with her! Her mom hosted a delightful and delicious BBQ in her honor. As usually the food at the Pecks was amazing!!! Joelynn has always been a fun happy girl, I think this is why I love spending time with her!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Cara!

Most of you know we enjoy spending time with our friends. Being home has been so much fun because we get to enjoy our friends birthdays with them instead of just sending stuff via the postal service. Friday night we celebrated Cara's birthday with her and Ben at Ichibiri. We all ate until we couldn't move, so much yummy food! It was fun to see Kirby too! Here we are eating and eating and eating...

Another Beautiful Day

We just can not seem to get enough of the beach. The waves were small but Tim got a little work out paddling around while talking with his friends out in the water. I layed under the umbrella reading a not so interesting book accompanied by Sahba and Eric. The water was crystal clear so Eric enjoyed snorkling with the ocean life. We had a good time relaxing and chitchattin while enjoying the warm weather. We are really going to miss three arch.

Out on the town!

It is not very often we head out to the bars with the boys. After a fun evening of Wahoos, checking out the waves and roaming to various surf shops we ended up at the White House for live music. I was shocked to find the whole place packed with Mormons! It was a flashback to my yound adult days, I saw many faces I had not seen in a couple years. We had a fun time talking and people watching. The boys are always entertaining and unlike when I go out with the girls they are not girl crazy like my friends are boy crazy. We are looking forward to hanging out with Jeff and Tracy in Salt Lake!

Our LOVE Story...

Many of you are probably wondering why Wedding Pics are being blogged about. Well, since we have recieved some requests to post images from "our day" I thought it would be nice for those of you who knew us both but did not know we were married to see some pics... enjoy

PARTY TIME!!!!

Mom and dad hosted a welcome home party aka BBQ for Timmy. Our close friends celebrated Tim's arrival with lots of delicious food, good times and entertainment by the youngsters. Kate and Lisa brought their little ones; Jake and Issy who entertained us all evening long. Jake has changed tremendously in the past few months, he is a little man and enjoys smiling constantly. Issy is still tiny but much larger than just a couple months ago at her birth, she is too cute and such a sweet baby.
I once again feel so blessed to be home for the summer with my family and friends. I missed both of these babies births and am so happy to be able to see them and hang out with their mamma's this summer. I still find it hard to believe that my close girlfriends have children. Someday Katrina and I will have our little ones... but until then we will enjoy playing with the girls babies.
Tim cooked up some yummy burgers, my mom prepared all the other tasty food and Katri helped me with the melting of choco for the cupcakes and I made Ice cream cookie sandwiches. Everything was a hit!
Welcome home bubuu. xoxoxxo
