Pumpkins

This week for family night we headed to Ben and Cara's to enjoy some Halloween festivities. The guys carved pumpkins while the girls painted pumpkins. Cara treated us to some yummy homemade donuts topped with cinnamon n sugar. I had so much fun laughing with the girls all night! I am really loving this time of year and looking forward to all the fun festive activities we have planned.

BIRTHDAY BASH AND BONFIRE

Just realized I never posted pics from my birthday parties. Here are a few of all the girls from both nights (sorry boys no photos of you.) I love spending time with friends, they are a huge part of my life and each day I am grateful for all the love and support they provide me with. I know whenever I feel like being silly or when I get bummed out I can call on them. They always seem to enjoy my weirdness. I am so thrilled to be living close to all of them again!

CELEBRATE!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO NIC N BROOKE

It has been a week of celebrating my birthday with family and friends. We started off with a joint birthday party for Brooke and I at my parents house. We were happily surprised with an unexpected house warming gift from Holly! It was an enjoyable evening with the fam. I am still in awe that I am 30. I just do not understand how the past 10 years have gone by so quickly?.? Tim treated me to lunch and dinner on the actual big day... to bad I was working the entire day. But soon enough we will be off on our adventure of relaxation, I can hardly wait. Until then we will continue to PARTY!

THANK YOU HOLLY

Tom Curren 5"5 19 1/4

I'm not much of a blogger, but stumbled upon this amazing section from an old "Lost" video from the 90's. I remember watching this section over and over before going surfing and I just had to share it. Tom Curren's perfect style never gets old. Enjoy !

peter priesthood

While our hubby's were at the Priesthood Session of Conference for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints us girls cooked dinner, read magazines, shopped the 99 cent store, and chatted it up. Cara and I had to show Michelle the most efficient way to shop the 99 cent store, unfortunately the trip was cut short but we still managed to get some goodies. After our home cooked meal we all enjoyed Melting Pot fondue compliments of Russ and the Bennett's.  We had a little struggle attempting to light the pot up... we eventually found a method that worked, it only took parts from 2 fondue parts. It was not until the end of the night that we figured out we had set the pot up incorrectly, oh well now we know for next time.  We had a fun night!

WELCOME FALL

It finally feels like Fall in Orange County. I enjoyed a lazy relaxing day yesterday as grey skies filled with rain clouds and a slight drizzle hung around all day. I began preparing for Halloween with pumpkins, spider webs and my new pumpkin spice candle. I enjoy rainy days, its a great change from the warm heat of summer and I can bust out all my cute boots and warm sweaters.

BALL GAME

Nic and Jenny
we are glowing from the massive amounts of sweat
it was 78 degrees at 9p.m.

Us
Scottie and Jenny invited us to the first Angel's play off game on Wednesday night. We started the night out with some tasty burgers n fries then headed up to Angel Stadium. Our seats were great, nice n close to the field with some fun people watching (It felt as if we were the only sober people in our section), the weather was incredibly warm - where is fall?. The noise was insanely loud with each person clapping away with their paper clappers... who knew paper could make so much NOISE!  We had an enjoyable evening cheering on the Angels. GO ANGELS!
