Owen O. Asay was born March 25th at 12:29 pm.  We are extremely excited for Joe and Britt.  Thank you for letting us participate in this wonderful miracle of child birth. Joe kept me informed all morning of Britt's status, I rushed down from Huntington to be there when little Owen was making his way into this life. Unfortunately, I do not do well in the hospital due to psychological issues in my head from some serious accidents of friends, especially at Mission, it just brings back such horrible sad thoughts. So yesterday while being in the room with Britt as she was pushing (which only took about 35 minutes!) I was on the verge of fainting and had to go lay in the hallway.  I missed the birth but ran in once I knew Owen was out. I am amazed at our bodies and the entire miracle of life itself.  Britt looked great after giving birth, this is the first time I have been around anyone giving birth but she made it look so easy and smooth. I must say  I am absolutely terrified of giving birth I do not know how I am ever going to get through it. I guess we have no need to worry about it any time soon.  But I am very excited to be prego and have a babe sometime soon. Congrats Britt and Joe, we are excited to spend time with Owen!

The weather could not have been more beautiful this weekend.  I can not get enough of the 80 degree weather at the beach with clear skies and good waves. The weekend started with an amazing two hour hike in the hills of sc/sjc with Chelsea and Mu along with all the wild flowers and bugs.  I loved sweating as we climbed up and down thru the tall weeds and wild flowers. Such a great day for a hike!  We followed the hike up with yummy sandwiches and a nice relaxing afternoon at the bay chilling n reading while the hotties surfed. I love these kind of Saturdays, I can hardly wait for summer!
Easter was a fun day with family. We headed to church first thing in the morning followed by brunch at the Johnson's and an egg hunt for Maleana.  The entire afternoon was spent with my parents and a few family and friends. This year Easter at my parents was the smallest group of people in years, but it was still fun. I always love spending time with my family, it is so great to be back in town.  The weather was so warm into the night we sat outside enjoying our Easter feast and chatting till late.
I am absolutely loving this fresh spring weather, I sure hope it lasts into summer!

Volleyball BYU v CSULB

I have enjoyed seeing Jules so much over the past few weeks! Friday we headed up to the Volleyball game to cheer Russ and the team on. Unfortunately the game did not go as well as we had hoped but it was still fun. The girls cheered loudly from the stand while the boys got embarrassed. After the game we ate Rosco's chicken and waffles which was a hit by all who enjoyed the yummy greasy fatty foods!

We celebrated his birthday night at Albertacos followed by Cherry on Top with a few good friends. I can not express enough how ecstatic we are to be back with our friends and family especially for special occasions!  Tim enjoyed his week working, surfing, golfing, and swimming along with spending time with our friends and my fam. Happy Birthday Bubuu.

Chrissy and Ella came down from Arizona to celebrate Ella's 2nd birthday.  The party was held at Chuck E Cheese, it had been years since I had stepped into Chuck E Cheese.  I was reminded of my birthday party (i think it was my 6th birthday) that was held at Chuck E Cheese, I remember getting 2 Cabbage Patch Kids and I was thrilled. The place sure was a ton more fun back then. Although us girls did have a fun time today eating pizza, chasing down the mouse, and playing tons of games.  The  favorite of the day was the character photo drawing booth. I always enjoy seeing the girls from high school and their little ones. Weird how fast we have all grown up! Chrissy announced they are expecting their second baby! Happy Birthday little miss Ella, we miss you girls.

Girls and Babes

Chrissy and Naomi with Julie and Sophia

Nic, Jules, Sadie

Julie is in town for a visit which was a great excuse to get a group of girls together for some fun. We wondered the Spectrum, ate Javiers, and enjoyed each others company. It is so fun that most of my friends all know each other in some random way and we all get along. I can not even believe how grown up we are and so many of the girls have babies now! The babies are so adorable and very well behaved. It was such a crack up watching them interact with each other and babble to one another. Jules and Sadie we miss you and can hardly wait for May to come!

Good bye black beauty

After many years of having this car in our family my dad finally sold it. This is was my second car and it sure did treat me well. I have a lot of fun memories with this baby and she has gone through so much! I will most remember this car for the uniqueness of its major accident - getting hit/slashed open by a steam roller. She was sad, I was sad, dad was sad. Thankfully my dad knows machines and cars inside and out, he was able to fix her up and get her back into great shape. Drake(the family dog) will miss his car (my parents have been chauffeuring him around in this automobile since they adopted him). Sad day but happy day for my dads client who is now the proud owner of black beauty.

New York City

I have been fortunate to have friends who let me work with them (and play too). I headed to New York this past weekend with Nic to attend ENK. The time flew bye with all the work, we had a little time to walk around the city - Time Square, Ground Zero, Manhattan, Statue of Liberty and eat at some great restaurants (always a favorite when working tradeshows). The trip across the country was HORRIBLE! I must say I have been to a many places and on many flights and NONE of them beat this experience, not even the flight to Costa Rica with the tico smoking, this flight was AWFUL. I honestly thought we just might go down and die. Imagine being on a bumpy flight, a few bumps here and there okay not so fun but manageable, now imagine the bumps for 5 hours straight and picture yourself at Magic Mountain on an unstoppable roller coaster that continuously drops then throws you straight back up over and over and over again. This was our flight. Nic was screaming, her body being raised to the ceiling, I am holding to both seats for dear life, and the majority of the passengers kept gasping. Now I understand what seat belts on airplanes are for... If you weigh less than 100 lbs you will find yourself trying to avoid hitting the overhead baggage compartment if your belt is not tight. Lets just say I had a headache for the past 4 days. I enjoy seeing different places and experiencing new things but I always love returning home!

Just a bit . . .

About what we have been up to recently. The weather has been warmer, warm enough to head down to the bay or to the Talega pool so on our days off we have enjoyed the wonderful warm weather, clear blue skies, good waves and fun company. Tim got a new ride, I guess I should say two new rides - a man car and a doyle for the bay. He has sure been enjoying both of them a ton! I planned girls night with some high school friends we went out in San Clemente and as always had fun eating and laughing! The time is going too fast before we know it summer will be over!
