HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIT!

Last night we celebrated Brit's birthday down at the bay. We had a blast! It was fun spending time with Jeremy n Camile from Arizona, James n Leah from SD, and all the others from Orange County along with their babies (and soon too be babies!)! The food was delicous and the weather was perfect, such a warm night, and we enjoyed the sounds of waves crashing while relaxing by the fire. The waves were a pretty good size so the guys went for a late night swim. And Joe and Brit made an exciting announcement, Congrats we are anxious to meet the little one when we move back! Happy Birthday Brit, We love you.

Timmy just got a new lens for his camera and he is thrilled! Tim enjoys photography and is looking forward to getting some great shots this winter at the mountain. I know you are all thinking if Tim is such a great photographer why do the pics on our blog suck? Well, it is because I take the photos on the blog with my old outdated camera. Hopefully he will contribute some photos soon...

Miss Fashion...

Today I had the pleasure of spending time with a dear friend, Linda. Linda and I met eons ago at Saddleback while taking Fashion courses. We became friends thru working on window displays together. It is because of Linda that I had so many fun jobs in the surf industry! She took me under her wing and coached me all along the way, I learned a tremendous amount from her and I have always been gratefull for her friendship. Linda always brings happiness to my life, she has the amazing ability to talk to anyone and everyone, and she is soooo much fun! She has a great sense of style and always has the cutest outfits from head to toe! One of our favorite past times is shopping together before every tradeshow. We would go to South Coast and pick out outfits for each other, we had no choice, we of course had to look super cute at ASR!

Another fun filled day!

Not too many people read our blog and for those of you who do I bet you are tired of seeing photos of what we do everyday... I hope you guys are not getting too bored.
I feel so fortunate that Tim works up the hill from our house, so we often get together for lunch. I love seeing him all thru - out the day! I miss him when we are apart all day long. We enjoyed lunch at the new El Ranchito in Laguna with Tim's dad. For those of you who enjoy eating as much as I do I recommend this joint... the chips n salsa is delicious and the baja bowl and tostado's are yummy! The outside patio is really quant and cozy.
We ended the day with a family BBQ at my parents. It was a big feast with a ton of yummy food. Tim did an excellent job in the grill and as alaways my mom served up a lot of sides and desert which everyone enjoyed. Ben and Cara joined us, they are just like family!

Sisterly LOVE

My life is great! Everyday is just fun, fun, fun and more fun. One of the best things about being home is spending time with my sister. We spent the day together shopping for Timmy, eating a yummy lunch of pizza n salad at Selma's, laying out and cooling off with golden spoon. I always seem to meet interesting people when laying out and today was no different. After hearing a very touching but depressing story while laying out, I was once again reminded of how absolutly wonderful my life is.
Katri got pooped on by a crow today! That's what we get for laying out at the pool. This never happens when we go to the beach. According to Mellisa being pooped on is good luck! I love you Katri.

Izzy's Christening

Neil and Lisa's daughter was Baptized today. We enjoyed being there with my friends from high school and their spouses and children. Today not all the girls were able to make it (sad, it seems that the older we get the harder it is to find time for us to be in the same place at the same time). I feel so fortunate to be home for the summer, we have missed out on so many events while being in Utah. So today was a special day for me to be able to witness a stepping stone in Izzy's life while being the company of some of my greatest friends. I love them each so much and it is a special treat to watch Lisa, Kate and Chrissy with their sweet children. I sure am going to miss all the girls when I leave very soon. Moving back to the OC will be the happiest day of 2008 for me. Lisa's family put on a lovely Italian party and we had a fabulous day!

Family Love

Each summer my cousin Holly comes for a visit from San Fran and all us girls go to the ArtAFair and Sawdust in Laguna. (See website for discount http://www.sawdustartfestival.org and http://www.art-a-fair.com) This year Timmy joined us! All the adults found some great artwork and us youngster enjoyed checking out the photography and jewlery. We ran into Mike - a blast from the past - he is doing some amazing art work! Our favorites are the skateboards, especially the series he designed for Toy Machine, my fav is the butterfly board. Check out his website mikekershnar.com. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Javiers, we recommend the lobster enchiladas, everyone cleared their plates! So sad Javiers will be leaving Laguna very shortly, they are opening in Newport Coast and Cabo!
