Date-O-Rama

So for the past 8 months I have been wanting to set my cousing Lucas up with a girl, but not just any girl, an exceptionally great girl. I had the perfect girl in mind for him but at the time the timing was not ready. Well ... the timing is right! We felt a double date would be alot of fun so we headed to the Spectrum with Lucas and Emily. The night was fun and the two hit it off very well!!! Too bad that will be our only double date for a long while...

One last Hoorah!

We sure feel blessed to have enjoyed the ocean all summer long. The entire time summer the weather was perfect, the only hot spell occured during our last week (and it was nothing compared to last summers blazin triple digits!) and we spent each day at the beach. We sure will miss this spot! The waves were fun on our last day and the dolphins were in full effect playing in front of us for a long period. The water was clear as ever, I saw plenty of fish, seashells and seaweed. Tim surfed his longboard, shortboard and skimmed, all in all it was fabulous!

I know am lagging on blogging this week, I have been a bit busy and have not had time to post photos or take much photos. We are attempting to pack in as much fun and good bye's as possible so our days are long and jam packed, but fun too! Thursday after working we headed down the hill to have some fun in the warm sun. Joe and Timmy surfed, swam and skimmed while read a funny book and people watched. The fun carry on with Joe and Britt, we ate pizza and walked around the Spectrum shopping... great finds at the Urban sale. We ended the night with plenty of sweets from Rocky Mountain!

Our time home is winding down and quickly coming to an end. We decided to watch the sun go down at "our spot" where we were married. It was a bit breezy but the chill felt good. We enjoy taking in the view and relaxing up here.

Newly Weds BURKE n KELLI

Our love and best wishes go out to Burke and Kelli who married on the Fourth of August. The ceremony and reception were beautiful and Kel looked gorgeous (like a model, she is so tall and thin!), her dress was amazing and the Estate ring really tied the ensamble together! The night was a blast! I think I entertained everyone, well everyone execpt my hubby, who was totally embarresed with all my dancing, non stop all night! For some reason I just really really enjoy dancing and could not stop! Did I mention I was dancing by myself?? Well do not worry, Timmy and I were the only sober peeps there so no one seemed to care that I was a dancing machine, they actually enjoyed my moves! CONGRATS Kell and Burke!! Enjoy the two week long honeymoon!

We ate CAKE...

in celebration of our ONE year WEDDING anniversary! The past year has been filled with an abundance of fun, we are enjoying married life. I often find myself asking if this truly is my life. I feel extremely blessed to be married to Timmy. We celebrated at a favorite eatery of ours; Dizz's, the food was execptional as always and the desert was delicious! We highly reccomend Dizz's in Laguna on PCH (FYI not for those who are penny pinchers), the atmosphere is cozy and romantic. Timmy gave me the camera I have been in need of ... so the pics are test shots.

Birthday Girl, Shaina!

Katri and I celebrated Shaina's birthday with her down by the harbor. It was another beautiful day at the beach, the ocean was the perfect mixture of deep turquoise and bright blue, sailboats were abundant in the background, and the breeze cooled us off. Katri met Shaina back in her pre teacher days of school and she thought I would get along with Shaina since she is the sweetest girl and into her religion and faith. Katri was right! Shaina is alot of fun and always so upbeat and positive! Here we are with all her teacher friends and sisters...
