We the spent the afternoon and evening with my family and some good friends. Besides the yummy food the main highlight of the night was playing Bingo! Unfortunately I won a couple times and had to rap (which I totally suck at and I have no idea of whom or what they rap songs and singers are about... I live in a bubble) and I had to do a robotic dance (which I also suck at)! Charles and Ben did a mean moonwalk! The night was fun filled. I am so sad Christmas came and went way too quickly.

Every Christmas the girls from high school get together for our annual Christmas party. Each year the group has been expanding... with children. It is such a fun time to chit chat and catch up on our lives and see how big the little ones are becoming. This year Lisa hosted at her new home (well we hope it will be her's soon!).
LIVE NATIVITY
This year a group of friends joined us at the Live Nativity in Santa Margarita. It is a wonderful way to bring the spirit of Christmas into your heart. My parents provided a night of fun and food for all of us. I am loving this time of year.

Shopping for stocking stuffers and receiving stocking goodies is one of my favorite gifts. I love finding little unique treasures to put in stockings and opening all the fun items packed into the stocking. This is my favorite time of year.
The tree at Fashion Island
We headed over to Fashion Island to check out the tree and do a little Christmas shopping. The shopping center was pretty empty so we got to get up close and personal with the tree. This year the tree is smaller than usual due to all the construction/renovations taking place but it still looked enormous to us. Thor had a fun time shopping with us.

CRAFT BAZAAR

Oh Christmas tree
Thor was enjoying all the decorating going on at our house. He wanted to sniff every ornament and every decoration. He sat by me as I opened each box of decorations. I love this time of year and am so grateful Thor is a part of our family.

Stringing the lights... we went with a much smaller tree this year after last year debacle of trying to get the tree to fit in the front door.
Hanging some of the decorations... decorating is so much work! I only put up a few ornaments this year.

turkey day
I am so happy to finally have a couple days off of work... working weekends is no fun. The day was spent with family and all our dogs. I made the gravy for the 1st time this year wow what a process that is... it took forever but actually ended up tasting good. This time of year is my favorite all the family time and yummy food!

Lobster season is amazing! We are fortunate to live near the ocean which brings us so much happiness and yummy sea creatures... like lobster. Thanks to Monty for being such a great diver we have enjoyed many yummy lobsters.

I love this time of year when the temperature drops, the smell of fire can be smelt from chimneys around the neighborhood, the leaves are changing and can crunched beneath my feet, finally all my fall boots, sweaters and tights can be worn.

We had the opportunity to be a part of the Boyer's very special day not only is Adela officially their daughter she is also forever a part of their family. Adela has so much spunk and energy... we just LOVE her!

The majority of my free time this summer has been spent with Thor. After traveling for work I find that I just want to be at home with my boys. We spent many nights this summer down at the beach, Thor loves running free in the sand.
