WELCOME FALL

It finally feels like Fall in Orange County. I enjoyed a lazy relaxing day yesterday as grey skies filled with rain clouds and a slight drizzle hung around all day. I began preparing for Halloween with pumpkins, spider webs and my new pumpkin spice candle. I enjoy rainy days, its a great change from the warm heat of summer and I can bust out all my cute boots and warm sweaters.

Scottie and Jenny invited us to the first Angel's play off game on Wednesday night. We started the night out with some tasty burgers n fries then headed up to Angel Stadium. Our seats were great, nice n close to the field with some fun people watching (It felt as if we were the only sober people in our section), the weather was incredibly warm - where is fall?. The noise was insanely loud with each person clapping away with their paper clappers... who knew paper could make so much NOISE!  We had an enjoyable evening cheering on the Angels. GO ANGELS!

I'm searching for some new books to begin reading. I love reading to relax my mind after an intense day of work.  I enjoy books that are not too serious, but interesting, enlightening, fun, happy, sad, romantic, silly, religious, and something I can relate to. KOKOMO. This afternoon we headed down to the bay to see the Beach Boys live on the beach. Tara and Colton came for a short visit along with Greg and Michelle. The weather was so warm, such a perfect beach day, too bad we were fully clothed. Watching all the kids dance to the Boys was fun while they entertained with their mello jams.  It was a fun experience to be on the sand with the waves crashing behind us. As a child Katri and I rocked out to them often with Amanda, so it was fun to hum along to the songs while shaking my hips. Thanks for the free concert Beach Boys!

A TRIP TO L.A.

We headed up to L.A. to visit Tara and Colton and their roommate Chase. The two days flew by incredibly fast with all shopping, people watching, broke down car, yummy foods, gay friends and laughter. We strolled the streets of L.A. Melrose, Robertson, and Old Towne Pasadena. I just love how Heavenly Father places people in our lives for a reason. We absolutely love these two fun friends! Thank you for the fun time.

We enjoyed the beach for one last sunny summer day with friends, waves, and clear blue skies.  The boys body surfed (since Tim's Doyle broke a couple weeks ago) and the girls read, ate and gathered sea shells. I'm sure going to miss these lazy summer days spent at the beach. Now we are ready for weekly bonfires!
