The final days of Summer

As the Summer came to an end our weekends were packed with friends, fun and food. We are going to miss the hot sunny summer days but look forward to cool nights, layering our clothes, candles burning in the house, and yummy soups. Here's what we have been up to kick of the end of Summer.

Tonight we headed down to the bay to say goodbye to the Teissier's. The weather was beautiful, 78 degrees at 5 pm, blue skies, crystal clear water, and an amazing vibrant orangey pink sunset all while enjoying a yummy BBQ completed with smores. Timmy and I had a blast building sand castle, shell hunting, swimming, and strolling up n down the shore with the G, Addie, and Mal. The girls have grown so much since their last visit. Addie has the most beautiful curls and G is super loving. We will miss seeing them grow and playing n cuddling. We love you!

And they just keep coming...

Visitors seem to be arriving on a weekly basis around here! And we sure do love spending time with so many friends and family. I only wish I did not have to work so many hours each week (thankfully my job is enjoyable and fun) so I could spend more time with everyone that stops by Orange County. We were thrilled to find out Jo was coming back again... if only she would just move on back to her home town so we could hang out everyday! This time around she brought the whole crew, the Thomas family. Tim enjoys spending time with Jo and Rosie just as much as I do and he finally had the chance to meet Andy his brother from another mother. We absolutely loved spending time with all of them at the beach. It looks like its our turn to go visit them in Idaho! We look forward to seeing their new home and cruising around Preston. We miss you guys and hope to see you soon. xoxo

We also had the fun pleasure of spending time with part of the Hansen fam. Luke's mom is a hoot! We absolutely love chatting with her, she always cracks us up! And we finally got to meet his adorable sister! Thanks for letting us spend a few fun nights with you while you were visiting Naomi, can't wait to see you again for baby number two!

Saint Catherine's Laguna Beach

Saturday we spent the day with the McDonalds and the Johnson clan at Saint Catherine's for Malaena and Marielle's baptism. The day was one of the most gorgeous days we have had this entire summer. After the festivities we headed down to the beach for a little relaxation.

The past month has gone by ever so quickly. We many visitors which kept us busy each weekend all through out the weeks.

One last hooray. After the good bye dinner we headed to Yogurtland one of Carolina's favorite spots (well it's a favorite of ours too) to end here visit to America.
